Gymnast and Olympic gold medalist Simone Biles, 24, is celebrating the first official day of summer by blessing her IG followers with a super cute bikini pic that shows off her washboard abs. While she just won theU.S. Gymnastics Championships (where shelanded a historic Yurchenko double pike vault) and is mere weeks away from competing in the Tokyo Olympics, she is clearly taking the time to soak in the season. In the two pics, she is rocking a red bikini with stylish shades.

“summer is a state of mind 💋,” she captioned the post. Simone’s looking super chill and toned head-to-toe. (Hello six pack!)

Fellow gymnasts Nastia Liukin and Maggie Nichols are here for it, with each leaving Simone “🔥” and “Slayyyyyyy👏” comments. And another fan left her plenty of goat (aka greatest of all time) emojis, “🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐.”

Simone’s six-pack abs are the result of many years of tough training. Simone shared what her workouts were like when she prepped for the Rio Olympics, and she did some intense cardio. “Last year, we did cross-training. We swam twice a week—almost a mile!” she told Women’s Health. “I swore I was going to drown, it was so hard, and then we would run. And the year before that, we would bike 10 miles outside once a week. If we didn’t bike, we would run a mile before practice, and as soon as we finished the mile we’d have to go inside and do a beam routine. My legs were absolute jello.”

As for her diet, Simone told Women’s Health that she follows her intuition when it comes to food. “I do not track anything,” she says. “I eat what I feel good with and try not to overeat or stuff myself because I’m always at the gym. For gymnasts, in particular, [tracking] can lead to health problems and eating issues, so I just eat what I know I can and should.”

Besides drinking lots of water and protein shakes, she eats everything from pepperoni pizza to salmon to sushi, but when she’s cooking at home, “it’s usually pasta, or chicken or salmon in the air fryer, oven, or on the grill.”

And she adds plenty of veggies to her plate. Her favorites include asparagus, broccoli, carrots, corn, green beans, peas, and potatoes. “I love potatoes in any shape or form,” she says.

That’s how a champion eats, folks.
