Padma Lakshmi, 50, Looks So Toned All Over Relaxing In A Bikini In New Instagram Photos

Lounging in a pool is the ultimate summer luxury, and apparently Padma Lakshmi knows a thing or two about it.

The Top Chef and Taste the Nation host, 50, recently dropped a photo of herself lounging facedown on a pool float, and you’ll feel instantly relaxed just looking at it. In the pic, Padma is working a teal bikini and it’s hard to miss the fact that her legs and butt are super toned.

And yeah, plenty of people did. “Geeeeeeeeeezus. No wonder she is everyone’s crush. 😍😍😍,” one person wrote in the comments. “Lawd mercy 🔥 🔥 🔥,” another said. Another added, “Blessed be the fruit 😂🍑🙌”

Of course, Padma didn’t get her 🍑 booty or the rest of her strong bod lounging around all day. She is pretty serious about her workouts, and sweats it out regularly.

She told Women’s Health last year that she tries to exercise at least five times a week for 90 minutes each. Her go-to move? Jumping rope. She does a jaw-dropping 2,000 jumps a day, which takes her about 35 minutes. She also works with her Pilates trainer twice a week—and Padma says that’s made a huge difference her muscle tone.

“Pilates changed my body,” she said. “It made me strong in places I didn’t know I needed to be. I have a butt now that I didn’t have during my modeling career!”

Padma eats well, too. She tries to make 50% of her plate fruits and veggies, and 50% simple carbs, starch, and lean protein. She leans toward a plant-based diet when she’s not filming, but she’ll have chicken, fish, ground turkey, and veal every once in a while.

Padma is also realistic about the time she has to cook, doing her best to juggle her busy schedule with her healthy eating goals. “We cook one fresh meal a day in our home and that’s usually for dinner,” she told WH.
