ICYMI, Miley Cyrus posted a really impressive video on Instagram yesterday of herself running on a treadmill while belting out the song, “Rebel Girl” by Bikini Kill. She said it was in preparation for performing at the Super Bowl, and OMG, it was impressive.

ANYWAY. Apparently, Lizzo saw the video, too, and decided to create one of her own.
I’m tireeeeeed… Cuz I Love Yooooouuu,” she wrote in the caption of a new Instagram post. “I saw @mileycyrus running and singing on a treadmill so I ran and sang on a treadmill. It was fetch. And FUCKING HARD. ❤️”
OK, how can you not watch that? Lizzo—who is wearing a gorgeous bra top and leggings combo—kicks off the video by explaining why she decided to tackle this in the first place. “So, I saw Miley running and singing for stamina, so I’m going to run and sing my song for stamina,” she said. “I’m doing this for all the big girls out there. They said we couldn’t do it!”
So, Lizzo kicks things off. And she starts belting it out. “I’m crying, cause I love you,” she sings as she runs, kicking off the lyrics to her song, “Cuz I Love You.” She keeps on singing and rapping—this song is complicated and hard, with long drawn out notes, you guys—all while running along like it’s nothing. Lizzo even throws in some dance moves at one point.
While Lizzo makes it look like NBD for the majority of the time, you can clearly see she’s getting wiped at the end (and fair). By the end, though, Lizzo gets a second wind, belts out a high note again, smiles, and says “Woo!” before flashing the peace sign.
Check it out below. Warning: You’ll be cheering by the end.

Lizzo also shared a clip of her video on her Instagram Story and wrote, “Love u @mileycyrus U a beast.”
Lizzo’s beast mode video comes just days after she shared a post about loving her body. “I started talking to my belly this year. Blowing her kisses and showering her with praises,” she wrote in the caption. “I used to want to cut my stomach off I hated it so much. But it’s literally ME. I am learning to radically love every part of myself. Even if it means talking to myself every morning. This is your sign to love on yourself today! ❤️”
OK, now who’s ready to sing on the treadmill?!
