Julie Bishop Walks 21,000 Steps Before Noon In Self-Isolation

While the rest of us struggle to muster the motivation to move from our beds to the couch each morning, the 63-year-old is, quite literally, running rings around us.

On Tuesday, she took to Instagram to share her quarantine exercise regime – and, it has to be said, it’s pretty darn impressive.

“Exercise goal #covidstyle was 10k steps in the morning 10k steps in the evening but today went mad and [running emoji] #cottesloe and return so 21k steps before noon,” she captioned the post.

21K STEPS BEFORE NOON, YOU GUYS. That’s 19.7km and 20 flights of stairs. Just let that sink in.

“Now what?” she continued. “Ah ha! Perfect a handstand! #isolife.” Half woman, half amazing, eh?

Her 70,000 followers weighed in with words of support.

“Wow, putting us all to shame. Headstand next,” one fan wrote.

“Such an inspiration & certainly someone I look up to as a strong and confident woman,” another added.

Safe to say you’ve set a new benchmark, Julie! Keep up the great work.
