KitchenAid Releases Its Very Own Collection of Cordless Appliances

Gone are the days of having to rearrange your entire kitchen whenever you need to plug in your hand blender or hand mixer or chopper. KitchenAid has finally released its own line of cordless appliances — and it’s a total game-changer.

KitchenAid’s new Cordless Collection includes three heavily used appliances that do away with that pesky cord. Instead, they’re powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery. The collection includes a five-cup food chopper, which can chop up to 40 onions on a full charge and boasts two speed setting; a hand mixer, which can make up to 200 cookies on a full charge and boasts seven speeds; and a hand blender that can blend 25 bowls of soup on a full charge.

The chopper is available in five different colors (black matte, empire red, matte charcoal gray, passion red, and blue velvet), the hand mixer in seven colors (the five aforementioned plus white and onyx black), and the hand blender in two (black matte and passion red). They’re all about $100 each.

As for the charge, it’ll take about two hours to charge from empty to full and about 20 minutes if you need a quick charge. Plus, all three appliances’ parts are dishwasher-safe.

But the real beauty of these powerhouse appliances? You can take them anywhere. Want to prep on your outlet-deprived kitchen island? Do it. Need to get a few more steps in on your Apple Watch as you blend or chop? Go for it (but watch your step!). The options are seemingly endless.

KitchenAid has been a go-to brand for professional and home chefs, alike, for decades (since 1919!); so, if you were to purchase any cordless appliances, it should be a KitchenAid cordless appliance.

Plus, they’ve even shared a few recipes to make with your new cordless appliances, like this brown butter white chocolate cookies recipe. And we couldn’t think of a better way to break in that cordless hand mixer than by making a fresh batch of sugary-sweet cookies.
