Heinz Just Launched 'Kranch,' A Combo Of Ketchup And Ranch Dressing
- Heinz released a new “Kranch” sauce, a mixture of ketchup and ranch dressing.
- The sauce is keto-friendly, with just three grams of carbs per two-tablespoon serving.
- Kranch will be available nationwide starting in April.
Listen, there are tons of things you can’t have on the keto diet— French fries, bread, ice cream—but that doesn’t mean you need to go without one of life’s simplest pleasures: condiments.
Lucky for you, Kraft-Heinz is always coming out with brand-new ways to make your ordinary food taste not-so-ordinary. This time, they’ve paired two of the most beloved things: ketchup and ranch—aptly named “Kranch.”
The brand launched the flavor via their Twitter page today: “Kranch sauce is here! Reply with #KlaimMyKranch and #Sweeps and we might just give you one of the first 100 bottles. No purchase needed, rules in bio.”

Apparently, Kranch won’t officially hit stores until April (it’ll cost $3.49 per bottle, on shelves), but after taking a look at the nutrition info, the concoction definitely looks keto-worthy. Here’s how everything breaks down, per two-tablespoon serving:
- 100 calories
- 10 g fat (1.5 sat)
- 170 mg sodium
- 3 g carbs
- 0 g fiber
- 3 g sugar
- 0 g protein
To be fair, most condiments like mayonnaise, ranch dressing, and hot sauces are fine if you’re on the keto diet, but salad dressings or some ketchup varieties often contain too much sugar to be totally keto-friendly.
This new Kranch flavor comes after other new Heinz sauce flavors, including Mayocue (a blend of mayonnaise and barbecue sauce), and Mayomust (mayonnaise plus mustard, obvs). Both of which are pretty damn keto-friendly. Here’s how the nutrition info for those two sauces break down:
Mayocue
Per 2 Tbsp serving: 140 calories, 14 g fat (2 g sat), 200 mg sodium, 4 g carbs, 0 g fiber, 4 g sugar, 0 g protein
Mayomust
Per 2 Tbsp serving: 160 calories, 16 g fat (2.5 g sat), 280 mg sodium, 2 g carbs, 0 g fiber, 0 g protein
Clearly, with all of these new flavors, keto dieters won’t be at a loss for something to dip their grilled chicken strips or cut-up veggies in.
