Healthy Hacks: Dessert Dip Recipe
After a tasty dessert that’s still pretty healthy? Behold, chocolate hummus. Yes, you read that correctly. In this week’s Healthy Hacks we show you how to make a dessert dip that will blow your mind (and build your muscles).
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups of chickpeas
- 4 tbsp of maple syrup
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 4 tbsp unsweetened cocoa or cacao
- 2 tbsp water
Method
- Put all of your ingredients in a food processor and blend until smooth. combine all the ingredients except water, using just 3 1/2 Tbsp of maple syrup.
- Add water 1 Tbsp at a time to create the desired consistency.
- Serve with nuts, chocolate chips or fruit.
