Vegan Bride Uninvites All Meat-Eating Guests From Her Wedding, Creates A Whole New Level Of 'Bridezilla'
We just might have identified a whole new species of bridezilla…and it’s definitely a herbivore. According to a recent thread posted to Reddit, a woman uninvited all meat-eating guests —family and bridal party included—from her upcoming nuptials. The screenshots, which allegedly came from the Facebook group “VEGAN REVOLUTION,” revealed the soon-to-be bride’s assurance that “murderers” would not be welcome. So that’s…new.
“When ‘family’ tries to guilt you into letting them come to your fully vegan wedding even though they are omnivores 😂😂,” she began: “[They] were told they are not invited to my wedding because we don’t want to host murderers at our wedding which is supposed to be one of the happiest days of our lives.”

Despite receiving major backlash for her original post, the unnamed bride does not seem to be backing down. In a follow-up, she told fellow vegan revolutionaries she was “not sorry,” and that she and her partner have been “consistently attacked” by said omnivores.
“When I broke the news to them, all I got was attacked because I don’t want the weight of having people that still kill animals (the very beings we are trying to protect) at my wedding on my conscience,” she continued, “I’m not sorry if that makes me ‘rude’ or ‘a bitch’ because I am not compromising the ethics that I share with everyone here.”
Commenters went off. “Why not just serve vegan food,” one person wrote. While another noted, “Vegan in no way means tastes bad.” According to another screenshot posted in the Reddit thread, one of the woman’s meat-eating bridesmaids came back with her own response. “I just wish she didn’t invite us in the first place if she was planning on having a vegan wedding,” she said, adding they’d all already picked out their bridesmaid dresses.
We NEED an update. What are the spouse’s thoughts?? How many vegan friends do these people really have?? Please reveal yourself, vegan bridezilla.
