Look, I would love to be the kind of person who exclusively eat homemade pies, but it’s very time-consuming, especially around the holidays. So when it’s time to celebrate Thanksgiving or attend a Friendsgiving, I’m not against making our contribution a store-bought pumpkin pie. If you’re going to choose one, I might convince you to make it Costco’s fresh-baked and larger than-life pumpkin pie. Let me explain.
People wait for Costco’s pumpkin pie every year, because it’s delicious, 4 pounds, and, somehow, only $5.99. It’s truly a gift! Thanks to Instagram account @costcobuys, we know that the beloved dessert is back at the wholesale retailer.
“I seriously can never get enough of this pie, especially with its flaky crust and delicious taste,” @costcobuys captioned the photo.
The huge pie is baked by Costco with their signature recipe and, again, it’s only $6 (!!!). There’s such a cult-following for this pumpkin pie that there’s a Twitter page dedicated to it, so, yes, it’s a thing.
Thanksgiving is a time when family comes together…and asks you a bunch of questions that you do not want to answer. But, uh, at least there’s pumpkin pie?
