Jenna Jameson Just Shared A Bikini Photo To Celebrate 10 Months On The Keto Diet
Jenna Jameson has officially been following the keto diet for 10 months now (which, LBH, is no small feat)—and she celebrated on Instagram with a bikini photo.
“10 months living the #keto lifestyle,” she wrote, captioning a picture of herself in a lime green bikini. “Easy? It is now. sustainable? Absolutely. Keto has a lot of critics, but always look behind their anger towards this way of life.”

10 months living the #keto lifestyle. Easy? It is now. Sustainable? Absolutely. Keto has a lot of critics, but always look behind their anger towards this way of life. There is always something for them to gain by trashing it. We all need to celebrate anyone’s effort to get healthy! Reading all of your dms describing your pounds falling off is the highlight of my days… so keep it up and stay focused… bikinis for everyone 😆 #weightlosstransformation #ketodiet #intermittentfasting #fitmom #weightlossjourney #postpartumbody

Clearly, the keto diet has been successful for Jenna. She lost about 80 pounds since starting the diet in April 2018, and this isn’t the first time Jenna defended the keto diet.
Back in November, Jenna shot back at keto critics: “195 lbs vs. 120 lbs, I would just like to make a few statements,” she started. “When I was heavy, I was shamed by quite a few media organizations. Now that I’ve become well known for #keto…a lot of media has gone out of their way to hire ‘so called doctors’ to disprove the keto lifestyle and plant the seed that it isn’t sustainable.”

195 lbs vs. 120 lbs i would just like to make a few statements. When I was heavy, I was shamed by quite a few media organizations. Now that I’ve become well known for #keto … a lot of media has gone out of their way to hire “so called doctors” to disprove the keto lifestyle and plant the seed that it isn’t sustainable. Well here I am folks, 7 months on keto and LIVING MY BEST LIFE. Here’s the moral of the story, DO WHAT WORKS FOR YOU. Don’t let others push their agendas on you. Trust your intuition and GO FOR IT! There is no time like the present to get healthy! #ketogenicdiet #ketotransformation #beforeandafter #beforeandafterweightloss #babyweight #weightlosstransformation #weightlossjourney #positivevibes #intermittentfasting #biohacking

Jenna continued, sticking to a pretty universal diet truth: everyone and every body is different. “Here’s the moral of the story,” she wrote. “DO WHAT WORKS FOR YOU. Don’t let others push their agendas on you. Trust your intuition and GO FOR IT! There’s no time like the present to get healthy.”
Jenna’s right that there’s no one diet for everyone. Many registered dietitians, for example, say that keto can help with short-term weight-loss goals, but it can be difficult to stick to for the long haul (because, well, carbs). Still, some research suggests that people on a low-carb diet (like keto) were better able to maintain weight loss compared to those on a high-carb or medium-carb plan, which seems like a serious win for keto lovers.
Basically, it’s all about personal choice and whether or not you can keep up with the keto diet (or any diet, for that matter) long enough to see results.
Jenna obviously can. And she urges her followers to celebrate anyone‘s progress—no matter their journey. “We all need to celebrate anyone’s effort to get healthy,” she said, adding that the highlight of her day continues to be when her followers DM her describing “pounds falling off” on the keto diet.
As long as Jenna’s feeling healthy and happy, I applaud her dedication and especially love the positive vibes she’s putting out. Keep it up, girl.
