Jada Pinkett Smith Just Showed Off Her Ripped Abs Working Out With Daughter Willow

Fact: Jada Pinkett Smith is jacked, so it’s hardly shocking when she shows off her toned bod IRL or on Instagram. The 48-year-old Red Table Talk host just shared a video of herself doing a core workout with daughter Willow Smith, and—surprise, surprise—her abs look ridiculous.

“A lil mother/daughter Mother’s Day prep😆🌸,” Jada wrote in the post’s caption. In the video, Jada sits on a mat and does an abs exercise routine alongside Willow. They both start out with heavy-looking books resting on their shins while they crunch forward. The duo then reach down, grab the book, and hold it over their heads until their bodies form a straight line, before crunching forward again and putting the book back on their shins in perfect harmony.

The move looks intense, though both mother and daughter seem totally relaxed during the whole thing—they don’t even break a sweat. Meanwhile, Jada’s six-pack abs are on full display in her matching black sports bra and shorts outfit.

Despite how incredibly strong Jada looks, she said last year that she’s not as fit as she used to be—and she’s cool with it. “I used to go so hard on my body. In the gym every day, lifting heavy weights, to have that hard body,” she told Women’s Health at the time. “But now I look my body, it’s softer, it’s not as firm as it was and I’m just learning to love it that way, and not feel that I have to beat my body up to be this muscle-bound thing.”

Jada also said she also doesn’t feel pressure to hit the gym as much anymore. “If I only go to the gym three times a week, that’s OK,” she said. “It’s OK. It’s like, my body is beautiful, my body is in good health.”
