The Surprising (and Coincidental!) Tie Between All Kim Kardashian's Kids and the Royal Family's

At first consideration, Kim Kardashian West‘s children and those of the British royal family may not seem to have much in common, but they’re more similar than one might think.

For starters, her three kids are all the same age as Prince William and Kate Middleton‘s. Kim and husband Kanye West‘s youngest child, daughter Chicago, is 14 months old — only a few months ahead of William and Kate’s youngest, Prince Louis, who turns 1 next week. Kim’s son Saint, 3, is the same age as Princess Charlotte (though the latter turns 4 early next month) while her daughter North and Prince George are both 5½.

They also have similar taste in baby gear! The Keeping Up with the Kardashians personality’s momager, Kris Jenner, bought multiple Silver Cross brand strollers for Kim and West’s newest addition, daughter Chicago, from L.A.-based Couture Kids shortly after her birth in January 2018.

One model that fans of the royals might recognize? The Balmoral Pram ($2,700), which Kate was photographed pushing Charlotte in during her daughter’s July 2015 christening.

As It Turns Out, Princess Kate and Kim Kardashian May Not Be That Different After All

Another instance that ties Kim’s kids to the most famous family in England? Her fourth child on the way, a baby boy, is due to arrive sometime this spring — seemingly around the same time as Prince Harry and pregnant wife Meghan Markle‘s first baby.

And like Kate, Kim, 38, also faced health issues in her pregnancies. The former battled hyperemesis gravidarum (acute morning sickness) while expecting all three of her children, while Kim dealt with preeclampsia and placenta accreta, and worried she’d develop gestational diabetes during both her pregnancies, with Saint and North.

The serious nature of Kim’s health problems were the reason she and West, 41, chose to use a surrogate for their third child, and fourth on the way.

Kim and Kate, 37, are also known for dressing their kids in designer threads. Their oldest children, North and George (who were born just a month apart), are an especially fashionable duo.

And the Kardashian sisters do seem to be fans of the royal crew. During Harry and Meghan’s May 2018 televised nuptials, Khloé Kardashian — a new mom herself at the time, to now-1-year-old daughter True — fawned over the “beautiful” ceremony.

“Mama, they’re prince and princess now,” she said, appearing to talk to mom Jenner in the background.
