Zoë Kravitz Teams With YSL Beauty on Lipstick Line
Zoë Kravitz is parlaying her signature edge into lipsticks.
The actress, who became a YSL Beauty muse in 2016, teased a product collaboration with the beauty brand on Instagram Monday night. YSL Beauty quickly followed that up with the announcement of YSL x Zoë Kravitz, a lipstick collection consisting of six shades, the first of which drops today.
Kravitz's YSL collaboration includes three red and three nude shades that come in satin, matte and shimmery finishes. The packaging was inspired by Kravitz's favorite Saint Laurent bag, the Niki Bag, as well as the packaging for Black Opium, the same YSL Beauty fragrance she fronted in 2018.
The shades are dropping one by one throughout the week. The first, Arlene's Nude, is a rosewood nude named after Kravitz's grandmother. Each shade gets its name from Kravitz's loved ones, including her mother, Lisa Bonet, and dog, Scout.
The full YSL x Zoë Kravitz collection will be available online on Aug. 25.
