Get Ready to Shop the Whole Foods Summer Wine Sale Because the Deals Are so Good
Nothing says summer like a crisp glass of white wine to sip by the pool or a campfire-side glass of a smoky red blend. Whole Foods knows this, and they’re here to help you load your summer wine fridge with inexpensive bottles thanks to their Summer Sommelier Sale. Sangria. Spritzers. Sauvignon Blanc. Whole Foods has you covered with the sale, which features a selection of wines hand-picked by the chain’s Master Sommelier, Devon Broglie.
Whole Foods has always had a pretty great selection of affordable wines (don’t tell anyone but their in-house Three Wishes brand is dirt cheap and totally passable for casual barbecues or to use as the base for sangria), but their recent wine sales have taken things to the next level. They had a massive rosé sale in May, and now this sale, which runs through July 30th (meaning you can drink great wine on a budget pretty much all season long).
The most expensive bottle clocks in at just under $19, and the most affordable bottle is about $9. Here’s the full list of the bottles you can find on sale.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed by all the possibility, Broglie recommends the Presto Lambrusco (a sweet sparkling wine sold in four-pack of cans) and the Holy Snail Sauvignon Blanc as some of the best warm-weather sips. The Grace Hale Sparkling Sauv may be the most expensive bottle on the list, but it also sounds utterly refreshing – the tart, citrusy flavors of Sauv Blanc with bubbles? Um, yes, please.
Mix it into cocktails, use it while you cook, but either way, you’ll definitely want to stock up on wine before the sale ends on July 30th.
