People Are Recreating Ariana Grande's "God Is a Woman" Body Paint, and It's Everything

If you, like me, have watched and re-watched Ariana Grande's "God Is a Woman" music video approximately 2 million times since it was released last week, you know that there is a lot to take in. Aside from the empowering imagery (at one point, Grande-as-God is shown literally breaking the glass ceiling with a hammer) and the constantly changing hair and makeup, the real scene stealer is the body paint.

Some would call the purple-and-blue paint that covers Grande's nude body a work of art. (Others, like her fiancé Pete Davidson, would call it "YUM YUM YUM.") The original work was created by artist Alexa Meade, who used paint to create the patterns on Grande's chest and face. And now, on Instagram, other artists have begun to create Grande-inspired murals with makeup. Blue and purple eye shadow, eyeliner, and lipstick seem to be the hero products in most of these tutorials, with artists using them to draw swirls on their faces, chests, and arms.

Some of their product picks include the Anastasia Beverly Hills Lip Palette, CCbeauty Professional Face Paint Oil, and Mehron Makeup 30 Color Paradise Paint Palette, in case you want to test out a "God Is a Woman" look of your own.

Makeup tutorials aren't the only thing that Grande's iconic body paint has inspired. Earlier this week, Lush teased a bath bomb based on the video, which makes sense considering that half of the video consists of Ari lying in a colorful, swirl-filled pool that looks like a bath bomb went off in it.

So, good news: Even if you aren't exactly thrilled with the idea of painting yourself with eyeshadow (sounds time consuming, no?), you may be able to copy one of the moments from the music video after all with nothing more than a soak in the tub.
