Applebee's Is Selling a Drink That Tastes Like a Boozy Jolly Rancher for $1 in December

December is a month filled with festive parties, gift-giving, and lots of baking. Nothing is quite as ~merry~ as a one-dollar drink, though! Applebee’s has delivered yet again, with a Neighborhood Drink of the Month that will curb any Christmas shopping/ holiday baking-induced stress.

The December Drink of the Month, the Dollar Jolly, is available beginning today at participating Applebee’s nationwide. In true holiday spirit, the Dollar Jolly is sweet as candy, literally. The vodka-based cocktail is made with Jolly Rancher mix, so you’re basically sipping a boozy version of the hard candy.

Applebee’s uses two of everyone’s favorite Jolly Rancher flavors, Cherry or Green Apple, to give the Dollar Jolly its fruity taste. The red and green Christmas colors of the drinks are a plus, too. In case the Dollar Jolly isn’t enough Jolly Rancher taste for you, each drink is served with an actual Jolly Rancher hard candy on the side.

According to a press release from Applebee’s, this is the first time the chain has teamed with Jolly Rancher. Patrick Kirk, vice president of beverage innovation at Applebee’s (I want that job, by the way), says, “The Dollar Jolly embodies the holiday spirit: joy, delight and good times. Oh, and vodka too.” Amen to that!

Applebee’s notes that price, participation, and availability of the Dollar Jollys may vary by location. If we can’t still be kids during the holidays, at least we have a $1 cocktail that tastes like candy. Cheers to that!
