Reddit Cannot Stop Talking About How Great This Foundation Looks on Combination Skin

Looking for the perfect product? Hit up Reddit just like user Rubkat did when they posed the random-beauty-tip gold mine that is the Makeup subreddit with a challenge. She needed suggestions for the no-nonsense, very best drugstore foundations for combination skin before heading to the store in four hours. "Help me out friends….My makeup routine is to slap foundation on and run out the door," Rubkat wrote. "I'm in need of a drugstore foundation that would work for combo skin. I like medium- to full-coverage. I don't really care about the finish. So please suggest products to me."

Luckily for Rubkat, other Reddit users were quick to oblige to her request. Several people offered up their suggestions, including one considered a holy-grail product. The best part is all were under $15. With that in mind, we could help but share the top five best drugstore foundations for combination skin according to Reddit.

Revlon ColorStay Makeup For Combo/Oily Skin ($13)

"I would highly recommend the Revlon Colorstay foundation for Combo/Oily skin. I just got it a week ago and I'm in LOVE! It blends like a dream and looks like skin — such a natural finish. I didn't notice any oxidizing, which is a plus. I don't get shiny 'til the five- to six-hour mark. With my oil-slick face, I always carry oil-blotting sheets that have translucent powder on them, so no big deal on that front. I live in very humid and hot Singapore, so this foundation fares way better than any others I've tried. I would say that it's a medium- to full-coverage foundation; medium with a Beautyblender and full(ish) with a stippling brush. And it doesn't feel heavy on the skin either."

L'Oréal Paris Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation ($9)

"L'Oréal Pro-Matte for oily/combo skin 100000%. I have dry skin, so I wear the L'Oréal Paris Infallible Pro-Glow Foundation. However, my friend who has combination skin wears the ProGlow on her face and Pro-Matte just on her nose (weird I know) but it wears beautifully! It's such an underrated foundation. If you like a dewy finish, I really suggest doing what my friend does because the Pro Glow is beautiful."

Maybelline New York Fit Me Matte + Poreless Foundation ($4)

"Maybelline Fit Me is my holy-grail drugstore foundation. I have both the stick and liquid foundation. With my combo skin, I can wear this for several hours before a little bit of oil shows up. Some blotting paper or powder takes that right away, though. I also have trouble with foundation oxidizing, and this is the only liquid I've found to not oxidize. I've tried a lot of other drugstore foundations and have yet to find one better than this one."

Covergirl Clean Matte BB Cream ($6)

"If you're looking for something to just slap on and go, I'd recommend the Covergirl Clean Matte BB Cream. It blends out super easy and provides decent coverage without making you look flat like a normal foundation would."

Wet n Wild Photo Focus Foundation ($6)

Rubkat ended up buying the Maybelline New York Fit Me Matte + Poreless Foundation, as well as Wet n Wild Photo Focus Foundation. User FeminineImperative mentioned it in a comment but didn't elaborate on its benefits. Rubkat, however, had some insight. "I was so impressed with the Photo Focus coverage that I got it because it was cheap," they wrote. "Wet n Wild has been stepping up their quality-to-price game." With its latest highlighters and liquid lipsticks, we can't help but agree apothekegenerika.de.

And recently, an entirely different subreddit, Makeup Addiction, started raving about Wet n Wild Photo Focus Foundation. "My combination-oily skin was blown away!" original poster Wsh1 wrote. The replies echo the enthusiasm. "Best coverage versus lightweight I have tried so far," user knugai0812 wrote. "This has been my daily foundation for like 6 months now," said another loyalist.
